KASHID BEACH

Kashid is beautiful beach near Alibag. Less explored, less crowded yet beautiful, calm beach.

Full family can enjoy this place with activity or calm whatever you want.

Accommodation:

Kashid is a small place having some resorts and more of home stays like accommodation.

Most of the place serve sea food but in home stays you can get good vegetarian food, just need to ne pre booked.

The Beach:

Superb place. Be it evening sunset or mornings with full of tides, just enjoy every movement.

Street parking available with entry to beach through small shops selling some food and drinks and last minute shopping like Bermuda.

Full of activities like Horse riding, water scooter, beach scooter etc. And rates are reasonable too.

Mornings are again best time to visit as it you get full tide and enjoy just simple calm walk along the beach or play in water.

The place:

The roads are small, so travel time dose not at times correspond with the distance, so please keep that in mind.

Vishal Khadi-A finest picnic destinagation

Vishal Khadi:

An unexplored destination for many.

Very beautiful place for one day picnic.

Can stay overnight also. Need to book via Gujarat Tourism.

Location: About 20 from Rajpipla and Netrang(if you are coming from south Gujarat).

Good motarable roads thanks to Government.

Best time to visit: Winter and pre monsoon, as very hot in summer.

Facilities available:

·        Lake for boating: very beautiful and memorable experience. At times you feel like you are in Kerala. Sunset and sunrise are must watch from boat.Small boats are available here which can accommodate about 8 people. No life jackets available so please be safe. Very cheap rates. The surroundings are great.

·        Very beautiful place for a groups. You might be bored if you go alone. Lush green place in the jungle, easily approachable from main highway.

·        You can do bit of trekking here with help of locals in day time. There is hilly area surrounding the lake.

·        You can order food in advance to take lunch here. Food is good traditional food.

·        Cottages are there for overnight stay, but very poor maintenance. Please do not stay unless you do no mind frogs roaming around in your room and can stay without ceiling fan in room. Cleanliness is pathetic. A neglected place by authorities which can be developed like anything.

·        Seen couples coming here for pre marriage photo suit. You can explore nearby places. 

·        In all god one day picnic place.

·        No mobile connectivity.

·        Please go with own your food and water.

·        Wearing shoes is good for all.

·        Token entry fees.

It is very important for all us to take regular breaks. In day to day life we come across lots of difficulties and issues that makes our life full of hassles and increases our stress levels.

It is advisable that one should take at least 2 vacations in one year, one short like a weekend break and one long.
